Let’s level up your experience with studio lighting! For those with some experience, we will break down studio lighting and create sets together. In addition, attendees will be able to spend time in our shooting bays, photographing models using our studio equipment to practice and grow.

For just $55 additional, extend your learning experience with our post-workshop editing session where we'll work together to edit the photos created during the workshop. This hands-on editing session will help you bring out the best in your images and learn techniques specific to the lighting setups we've practiced. You'll leave the studio with Instagram-ready photos that showcase your new lighting skills! Limited to workshop participants only.

The lighting workshops focus on studio lighting. All workshop attendees should know how to operate their camera, and understand the basics of photography - aperture, shutter speed and ISO - these will not be covered during the class.

The studio is equipped with everything you’ll need for the workshop experience, except for you and your camera! -
If you own a Godox trigger, bring it with you. For those who don’t have one, we will have triggers for Canon, Sony, Fuji and Nikon, that will be shared among the attendees.
If you’d like to purchase a light trigger, we recommend one of the two below.

Bring your laptop with Lightroom or Photoshop loaded on it! We’ll gather right after the workshop and work together to edit the photos we just took.
We’ll provide some guidance on using your sliders and adjusting your images to make them Instagram-ready!

Our workshop are small so that everyone can have ample time for hands-on practice. Workshops are capped at 9-10 attendees.

Registration and Payment
All workshop fees must be paid in full prior to attendance.
Workshop fees are non-refundable unless the workshop is canceled by Studio 40E
If Studio 40E cancels a workshop, participants will receive a full refund or credit
Workshop content, schedule, and instructors are subject to change without notice
Attendance and Participation
Participants should arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time
Late arrivals may not receive individual assistance in catching up with missed content
Participants are expected to follow all studio rules during workshops
Maximum capacity for workshops is limited to ensure quality instruction
Liability Limitations
Studio 40E does not guarantee any specific results or outcomes from workshop participation
All photography techniques and methods taught are provided for educational purposes only
Participants are responsible for determining the appropriateness of applying any techniques learned
Studio 40E is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the application of knowledge gained during workshops
Participants assume all risks associated with implementing techniques learned in workshops
By registering for a workshop, participants acknowledge that skill development depends on their own effort and continued practice
Equipment and Materials
Studio 40E is not responsible for loss or damage to participants' equipment
Any studio equipment used during workshops must be handled with care
Damage to studio equipment may result in repair or replacement fees
Intellectual Property
Workshop materials, including handouts and presentations, are the intellectual property of Studio 40E and/or the instructor
These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission
Studio 40E reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during workshops for promotional purposes
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify staff before the workshop
Workshop Conduct
Studio 40E reserves the right to remove any participant who is disruptive, inappropriate, or violates studio policies
No refunds will be provided to participants who are asked to leave
Participants are expected to treat instructors and other participants with respect
